The Railway

The Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway is Kent’s mainline in miniature. First opened to traffic in July 1927 as the ‘World’s Smallest Public Railway’ and now covering a distance of 13.5 miles from the picturesque Port of Hythe, near the channel tunnel, to the fisherman’s cottages and lighthouses at Dungeness.

The Martello Towers

The Kent coastline has always played a huge role in the defensive position of Britain through the centuries. Just one of the many remnants of this heritage are the Martello Towers which were built some 200 years ago when a French invasion was feared. Two of these such towers are viewable in Dymchurch and are only a short walk from our Amusement Park.

The Deck

Not far from the park entrance and we can recommend it as a great place to go for a few hours of fun.

The seaside is a wonderful place for a day out. The sandy beach is three miles long and is home to both kite surfers and donkey rides, among other things to enjoy.
